Join the New York City / New York State Ally Listserv
This listserv is for local Allies of Community Voices Heard. We use this list to inform our Allies of upcoming events, fundraisers, and other CVH activities for which we need Ally support. We also use this to keep allies up to date on exciting organizational happenings and accomplishments. This is the list you should join if you are interested in CVH, are not low-income, and live in the New York City or New York State.

Join the US / International Ally Listserv
This is the listerv for Allies of Community Voices Heard who do NOT live in New York. We use this list to inform our Allies of our activities and successes. This list does not include calls to action for things happening in New York but will distribute useful information and updates for anyone who is interested in CVH but does not live in our local area.


Become A Member:

Community Voices Heard is a membership led and directed organization. To be a member of a CVH you are joining a group of dedicated individuals who are working together to have a say in the decisions that affect our lives. The government often makes decisions around programs that address poverty in New York without consulting poor people. At CVH we believe that people who are most affected by governmental programs are the ones who need to be a part of the decision making process because they know better than anyone else what people really need. If you agree with this and consider yourself a low-income New Yorker ready to fight for the poor then you should be a member of Community Voices Heard. There are a few ways that you can get involved:
