CVH is unique in that we are the only organization working state-wide in New York City, Yonkers, and the Mid-Hudson Valley focusing on welfare reform, job creation, and public housing that is run, directed and informed by the perspective of poor people, particularly women of color. We have consistently been the organization that brings low-income people's voices and leadership to the forefront of strategizing constructive solutions and organizing from an economic justice perspective.
